For the first time since 2005, Pixar will not release a movie in a calendar year. The company’s next slated movie, The Good Dinosaur, was bumped back to 2015 after director Bob Peterson left the production. It was originally scheduled to come out toward the end of May, 2014, but will now hit theaters on Nov. 25, 2015, barring any more delays.
Pixar’s Finding Dory was going to occupy the November 2015 slot, but with The Good Dinosaur moving to that month, FD will come out in June 2016. It’ll compete with How to Train Your Dragon 3 for ticket sales.
