That’s Princess Reese, to you.
Disney Studios announced last week that Reese Witherspoon will wear the crown in its newest royalty infused project, “Happily Ever After.”
The ever-effervescent Oscar winner will play the better half of a fairytale couple 10 years after they’ve said “I do,” to comedic ends.
“Happily Ever After” joins a live-action version of “Cinderella,” set for release in 2015, on Disney’s docket of princess flicks. The project comes from a pitch by Nahnatchka Khan, the creator of ABC’s short-lived “Don’t Trust the B— in Apartment 23.” Stay tuned to see if Khan’s offbeat, irreverent brand of humor holds up once it has received the Disney treatment.
